this bag was made in inspiration of old hard shell luggage from the 70s with stickers all over from places the owner had visited. the idea for this bag was to show a well-traveled American, adding in elements from their travels across the country.

all of the materials used is this are 100% recycled & sourced from second-hand materials or handmade by me. this would be a perfect bag to throw on when you’re headed to the lake in the summer or spending the weekend at your grandparents house for the first time in years.
 
completed for my AMERICAN PIE COLLECTION for my SCAD FIBR 345 class, this bag was made as part of a collection of 5 bags to reminisce over a lost time in American culture, thinking back to the days of don mcleand song “american pie” which reminds me of my childhood in the truck with my dad going fishing with my great grandad or taking the trash off to the dump in his truck and stopping at the gas station to get a root beer in a glass bottle.
